When to Replace Your Roof

There are several signs that it may be time to replace your roof. Here are a few:

  1. Age: If your roof is more than 20 years old, it may be time to consider replacing it. As roofs age, they become more prone to damage and may not be able to protect your home as well as a new roof.
  2. Sagging or unevenness: If your roof is sagging or has an uneven appearance, it may be a sign of structural damage or a failing foundation.
  3. Missing or damaged shingles: If you notice that you have missing or damaged shingles, it’s important to repair or replace them as soon as possible. If you have a large number of missing or damaged shingles, it may be time to consider replacing the entire roof.
  4. Leaks: If you have a leak in your roof, it’s important to address it as soon as possible. If you have multiple leaks or if your roof is leaking in multiple areas, it may be time to replace the roof.
  5. Algae or moss growth: If you notice algae or moss growing on your roof, it may be a sign that your roof is deteriorating and needs to be replaced.
  6. Increased energy bills: If you’ve noticed a sudden increase in your energy bills, it could be a sign that your roof is not properly insulating your home.
